When I was a little kid me and my dad cut down a Christmas tree. We got to decorate it and while we did we got to listen to Christmas music. We got to make Christmas cookies with my nanna and we got to put icing on the Christmas cookies. We got to put food coloring in the icing. We put red and green and blue and yellow food coloring on the icing and the best thing about Christmas is spending time with your family.

This is what Christmas means to me is getting a Christmas tree and presents. It means getting together with friends and family. It means its Jesus’s birthday. It means snow will be on the ground and you will be able to go sled riding. I will be able to smell my sister, little brother and mom make cookies. My little brother likes to mess in the dough when they get done with it. While they do that me and my dad and his big brother are either outside hunting or inside watching tv where it is warm. When they get done baking cookies and stop cooking, my family comes over and we eat a lot of food. Christmas is the best time of the year to be with family.

This is what Christmas means to me… It is the birth of Jesus Christ and getting together with my family. The birth of Jesus is the meaning of Christmas because without him we would not celebrate Christmas. Family is also the meaning of Christmas because we have a get together at Grandma’s house and Grandma Pansy’s house and eat and eat. This is what Christmas means to me.

What Christmas means to me is God. I do not care about Santa. No one even cares about Santa in my family, not even my baby sister and she is 2. But I like family and friends and I don’t like Christmas trees either. The only thing that isn’t stupid is God. So there you go, that is what Christmas means to me.

To me Christmas is to celebrate Jesus’s birthday. He is the reason we are alive and I thank him so, so much. If he didn’t’ care we would not be here. So I thank him so, so, so, so much. I love spending time with my family.
