RONDA — The Clingman Medical Center Board members have announced the sixth annual scholarship opportunity for a local student/applicant showing an interest in the medical field.
The Clingman Medical Center is located in the Clingman community, centrally located to assist patients from Wilkes, Yadkin and Surry counties. The Clingman Medical Center is an associate of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. The center employs healthcare providers with decades of experience who provide the comprehensive, compassionate care to their patients.
A scholarship will be awarded to a deserving candidate that has demonstrated his or her desire to pursue an education and/or training in a medical-related field.
The ideal candidate(s) should show a vested interest by studying toward and/or working or volunteering in some medical-related field and show a high moral and scholastic aptitude; one that has shown by experiences an interest in helping his or her community and fellow man.
The deadline for this year’s application is March 15. Applications are available at all local high schools, community colleges, the Clingman Medical Center in Ronda, or it can be found online at www.clingmanmedical.org.
