Mr. Graham C. Greene, 93, of 163 Grassy Creek Dr. died Thursday morning at his home. Mr. Greene born in Wilkes Co. May 22, 1919 to Granville and Myrtle White Greene. He was co-owner of Grassy Creek Farms. He was an active member of Elkin First Baptist Church, a member of Elkin Masonic Lodge and the Elkin Shrine Club.
Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Fran C. Greene ; two daughters, Gay (Joe) Henderson of Shelby, NC Laura (Karl) Knapp of Chapel Hill, NC and one son, Mark (Nikki) Greene. Nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m at First Baptist Church in Elkin. By Dr. Rick Bennett The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
