The Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce awarded Reece Machine in Dobson the Chamber member of the month title for November. Although the family-owned business has been in operation for 12 years since Owner Lynn Reece started it, he and his brother James have only been Chamber members for a couple of years. The business, located at 208 E. Atkins St. in Dobson, specializes in refurbishing reach-in coolers like the ones you grab a drink out of at the grocery check out line. While they also dabble in vintage and vending machine refurbishing and rental properties, their newest project is the “Bag of Ice” pictured above. This venture was installed Tuesday.
