With gas prices rising, consumers have cheaper options.
Gas prices are increasing.
Over the last two weeks, the prices have raised about 20 cents per gallon for some stations in Elkin, according to GassBuddy.
Motorists have relief, however.
In an Elkin spot check, the gas station with the lowest price is CITGO, located at 623 Austin Traphill Road near the Pleasant Hill Road intersection, is $3.41 per unleaded gallon.
Several other Elkin gas stations are reporting prices of $3.49 per gallon.
