Charge: Possession of substance

Location: West Highland Avenue, Elkin

Details: William Bryan Walker Jr., 22, of Jonesville, was charged with possession of one gram of marijuana, according to an Elkin Police Department incident report. Officers found the marijuana after conducting a drivers license checkpoint and smelling a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the car, according to the incident report.

Charge: Driving while license revoked

When reported: Oct. 29 at 3:10 p.m.

Location: West Highland Avenue, Elkin

Details: Justin William Luebcke, 21, of Elkin, was charged with driving with a revoked license when stopped at a driver’s license checkpoint, according to an incident report.

Charge: Possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of open container, driving with license revoked, failure to register and failure to maintain liability insurance.

When reported: Oct. 29 at 9:30 p.m.

Location: 300 block of CC Camp Road

Details: Tina Tharpe Macemore, 50, of Ronda, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers conducted a traffic stop, according to an incident report.
