These are the homecoming queen candidates for Surry Central High School. The candidates are Katie Bledsoe, Brittany Shaw, Jessica Snow and Brooklyn Tucker. The homecoming queen will be announced at halftime this Friday at the Surry Central football game against Bishop McGuinness. The game is set to start at 7:30 p.m. A parade is planned at 4 p.m. Friday. It begins at the high school and will continue down Main Street in Dobson. A barbecue for students will be held in the school courtyard after the parade.
