Martha Catherine Harris passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Wesley Long Hospital. Born on Dec. 6, 1929, in Winston Salem, she was the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Harris.

Martha dealt with her own final illness with courage, dignity and a non-complaining attitude of acceptance and gratitude for her life with us. She never forgot that her neighbor was her friend.
