Chief Monroe Wagoner promoted Officer Josh Tolbert to corporal of C squad for the night shift and Officer . Tolbert has worked for the the Elkin Police Department for six years.
Officer Nick Hooker was promoted to corporal of the day shift. Hooker has been with the police department for three years.
“These are two of our best officers,” said Capt. Chris Leonard. “We are happy to have them on the force.”
