The Clingman Medical Center Board of Directors has awarded Brenna Denny with the first annual Clingman Medical Center Award.
The board of directors decided to begin a program for the $5,000 scholarship for a student pursuing studies in a medical related field.
Denny, daughter of Chris and Amanda Denny, is a gradate of East Wilkes High School and will be attending Wilkes Community College in the pursuit of a nursing degree.
