D & J Galaxy grocery store in Boonville will play host to the next set in the filming of ‘You Are Here.’
Filming is expected to start sometime in the evening on June 28. The store will be closing at 4 p.m. to accommodate the filmmakers.
D & J Galaxy is set to be the location for a scene between Amy Poehler and Zach Galifianakis’ characters in the film.
Yadkin County Economic Developer Bobby Todd said that when site locators for the film were shown a picture of D & J Galaxy they told site scouts to stop looking because it was the perfect location for the scene.
There are currently no details whether shots will be filmed outside or inside of the store.
