Kenneth and Alfreda Abrams of Elkin celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in Hawaii. In July they stayed at the Ohana West in Waikiki, taking the Tribune along for the trip. Kenneth works for Elkin City Schools and is a varsity basketball coach. Alfreda works as Human Resource Manager for Sodexo at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
