Eating like ‘Little Red Hen’


Mountain Park Elementary School prekindergarten class read “The Little Red Hen.” Afterward Mrs. Arrington and Ms. King helped students make biscuits just like the Little Red Hen and homemade butter. Cheyenne Lowe, pictured here, dressed like the Little Red Hen while she worked on the bread. Ms. King and Kierra Shaw made the bread along with Joseph Pugh. Keyton Harris enjoyed learning how to make butter. Cheyenne Lowe and Hector Nava enjoyed apple butter and homemade butter with their biscuits. Joseph Pugh and Juan Loa-Ruiz liked theirs, too.
