Elkin tennis held its fourth match of the season on Tuesday afternoon in humid conditions. The Elks took on Wilkes Central and came away with a 9-0 win.

Every match was a runaway with most players winning 6-0 or 6-1. The lone exception was Elkin’s Sydney Kelly, who battled against Wilkes Central’s Suvanna Rush. Kelly won the first set 6-1, lost the second set 4-6, then won the final set 12-10. Kelly’s battle helped the Elks sweep Wilkes Central and move to 2-2 for the season.
