BOONVILLE — This weekend Welborn Farms, 3141 Rockford Road, Boonville, will look a little different as the farm will turn into an ATV and motorcycle race course.
The Mid-East Hare Scramble will take place Aug. 13 and 14 with ATV races on Saturday, and motorcycle races on Sunday. The course runs over nine miles, with each race varying in length. The track has different elevations, a creek crossing, and goes through several tight spots in the woods.
The Mid-East Hare Scramble includes different ages and genders in their races, as they have riders from age 4 all the way to age 60 and older. The track is spectator friendly and there will be plenty of parking at the race. This event is open to the public, with tickets starting at $10 for both days.
More than 500 riders are expected to participate in the race, with riders coming from all across the state and the country to participate.
