EAST BEND — Former Catawba volleyball player Anna Howe and Catawba volleyball coach Ginger Hamric wrapped up their three-day volleyball camp on Wednesday night at Forbush Middle School, and excitement could be felt in the gym.

Howe and Hamric teamed up to bring their volleyball knowledge to rising sixth- through eighth-graders. Around 20 campers showed up on every night eager to learn from some of the best volleyball instructors in the county. Throughout the three days of the camp the kids learned different volleyball techniques while having tons of fun.

The camp was beneficial to both the coaches and everyone involved. At the end of the camp, each participant received a T-shirt.
