The 2016 football schedules for Forbush and Starmount were released last week.
Forbush kicks off its 2016 season with a home game versus Elkin on Aug. 19.
Last season the Falcons went 5-7 overall and 2-3 in their conference. In the WPAC, Forbush placed fourth with a .400 win percentage. They scored 123 points and allowed 175. Jackson Cooper lead the Falcons with 450 passing yards, and Zane Johnson lead the Falcons with 971 rushin yards. Below is the full 2016 Forbush schedule. Home games are in bold.

Starmount kicks off its 2016 season with a home game versus Mount Airy on Aug. 19.
Last season Starmount went 7-5 overall and made it to the first round of the NCHSAA playoofs before falling to Swaim County. The team placed third in the MVAC with a 5-2 record and a .714 winning percentage. Starmount scored 237 points in the conference, and allowed only 110.
