Michael and Linda Gregory, of Hamptonville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Michelle Gregory to James Preston Roberts. 

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Preston and Kathleen Roberts of Hays.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of East Wilkes High School and  is currently enrolled in the associate degree nursing program at Forsyth Technical Community College, and plans to graduate in December.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2005 graduate of East Wilkes High School and is employed by Louisiana Pacific in Roaring River.

The couple will be married on Aug. 1, 2009 at Union Baptist Church in Hamptonville.
