The Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Ambassadors Club presented Surry Telephone Membership Corp with the April Member of the Month award.
Jerry Stroud, chair elect for the Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce, thanked the employees of STMC on Tuesday morning when the Chamber Ambassadors surprised the staff with the award.
“This is our way of thanking you for supporting the Chamber and our members. We also want to acknowledge some of the wonderful things you do for the community,” Stroud said. “Thank you for helping the volunteers at Habitat for Humanity and for your toy drives for local children during the holidays and your food drives. We are glad to have you in our community.”
