Girl Scouts celebrate cookie sales

The Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont held their Cookie Program Recognition Event on Saturday, June 16 at Carowinds.

They announced the Top 10 Council-Wide Cookie Program Sellers and Anna Hedrick, daughter of Missy Hedrick and Jerry Scheiber,of Elkin, placed 4th with sales of 1914 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies for 2012.

She and the top 10 received Bronze Metals. The top seller for 2012 was Aariena Brincefield of Guilford County with a total of 3800 boxes of cookies.

Congratulations to all the Girl Scouts for their work and the many people that bought Girl Scout Cookies, “THANK YOU”.

Cookie Sales Begin on January 1, of every year.
