Jaycees Holly Lamm and Jessica Pickens have been painting the town with fliers for the Elkin Jaycee Fourth of July, coming up this Wednesday.
Lamm and Pickens also co-chaired finding food and craft vendors for the event.
The 19th annual Elkin Jaycees Fourth of July will be at 5 p.m. until dark on Wednesday at Elkin Municipal Park. The rain date will be July 5, which would only include fireworks. There will be the musical performances from Owen Poteat and the Graybyrds along with bounce houses, speed pitch, petting zoo, face painting and, of course, fireworks.
Food vendors will include Pizza Hut, KJ Funnel Cakes, Harold Long Cotton Candy, Blue Ridge Ice Cream, Maria Torriente with Cuban Cuisine, Carter with subs and po-boy sandwiches, Teriyaki and BBQ Chicken Sticks and Twenty-One and Main.
Craft vendors will include Larry Chappell with photo print supplies, Courtney Trivette with Scentsy Candles, Puppetville of Yadkinville and JD Lights.
