Pfc. McKinley White was the Honor Graduate for platoon 3030.
Pfc. McKinley White of Roaring River graduated from Marine basic training at Parris Island, S.C. on April 12, 2013. He was the Honor Graduate for platoon 3030.
White is the son of Portia Hayes of Roaring River and Larry White of North Wilkesboro, and the grandson on McKinley and Jackie Speaks of Harmony.
He was accompanied at the graduation by a host of family and friends.
