Dwight Isenhoward plans on working his miracles in the Elkin-Jonseville area, with the opening of Miracle-Ear hearing aid center at Jonseville’s D-Rex Pharmacy.
“Miracle-Ear is a national franchise across the country for hearing testing and hearing aid services,” Isenhoward said.
Isenhoward started working with Miracle-Ear in 2000, and traveled the country as a national hearing specialist. After a stint at North East Ear Nose and Throat Center of Concord, Isenhoward returned to Miracle-Ear and decided to purchase offices in this territory. Prior to opening Jonesville’s Miracle-Ear, Isenhoward opened and owns Miracle-Ear locations in Mr. Airy, Lexington and Winston-Salem.
“I live in the Elkin-Jonesville area, and my wife Ginger is a guidance counselor at Elkin Elementary School, so I really wanted to serve this area,” Isenhoward said. “I was going to open one here anyway, but I didn’t know where exactly. Then David Morrison asked if I’d come serve at his pharmacy location at D-Rex.”
Miracle-Ear offers a full line of digital hearing aids and accessories, free hearing tests, fittings, personalized programming, and aftercare for hearing aid clients.
Isenhoward’s hours at D-Rex will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Fridays or by appointment. To make an appointment, call 366-7327 or 1-800-682-6161.
