A Michigan fugitive was arrested last week along with his two friends after a joint investigation between the Elkin and Jonesville Police Department nabbed the trio.
The Elkin Police Department had investigated four incidents where the suspects, one being a male claiming to be hearing impaired, alledgedly approached people in parking lots of area businesses asking for money to get back home to Michigan, according to a police release.
The Elkin Tribune first heard of the original incident via complaints reported to the paper and chatter on Facebook.
The charges are as follows:
Raymond Alexander Pennell - Obtaining Property by False Pretense, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Stolen Vehicle , Aiding and Abetting Stolen Property.
Glenna Carol Eller – Obtaining Property by False Pretense, Aiding and Abetting Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Burglary Tools.
Scott Joseph Marino – Larceny of Fuel, Obtaining Property by False Pretense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Burglary Tools.
