Location: 100 block of Parkwood Drive, Elkin
Details: Officers responded to Hugh Chatham Hospital in reference to criminal summons service. Upon arrival, officers served criminal summons on Dawn Renee Boose, 32, of East Bend, charging her with prescriptions and labeling and misdemeanor larceny.
Charge: Injury to personal property, possession of marijuana, break and or enter
When reported: Oct. 4 at 10:58 a.m.
Location: 200 block of North Bridge Street, Elkin
Details: Dexter Lynn Whitaker, 21, of Hamptonville was charged with injury to personal property, possession of marijuana, and breaking and or entering.
Charge: Possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine
When reported: Oct. 4 at 12:11 a.m.
Location: Hudson Street, Elkin
Details: Tracy Ann Oakes, 37, of Mt. Airy, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. Oakes gave officers permission to search the vehicle, and they found a plastic bag with a methamphetamine rock and a syringe under the passenger seat, according to the incident report.
