Mr. Fred Harrison Hemric, age, 95 of State Road, NC, passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 at Elkin Healthcare. Fred was born in Wilkes County on August 19, 1917 to the late Jesse and Flora Brown Hemric. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cheek Barker Hemric, three brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Hemric is survived by a brother, Weaver Harold Hemric and wife Mildred of North Wilkesboro, and a sister, Pauline Felicia Pardue of Wilkesboro, also several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Hemric will be held Monday evening, November 5, 2012, at Johnson Funeral Home from 6-8:00p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. November 6, 2012 at Pleasant View Baptist Church by Rev. Kenny Wood, burial will follow at Oak Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
