Reevestock kicks off Saturday at 11 a.m.

Things are lively at 357 Ivy Circle in preparation for Saturday’s highly anticipated Reevestock.

Gates will open at Elkin’s “hidden amphitheater” at 11 a.m. on Saturday, and the festival will begin at noon.

Co-headlining Reevestock 2012 are The Dirty Guv’nahs and Holy Ghost Tent Revival. Also performing throughout the day is Mandolin Orange, Josh Oliver, Time Sawyer, Porch Dog Revival, Luke Mears, and R. Holt.

The line-up is Porch Dog Revival from noon-1 p.m., Luke Mears from 1-2 p.m., Josh Oliver from 2-3:30 p.m., R. Holt from 3:30-4 p.m., Time Sawyer Band from 4:15-5:45 p.m., Josh Oliver from 5:45-6:30 p.m., Holy Ghost Tent Revival 6:30-8 p.m., Mandolin Orange 8-9:15 p.m., The Dirty Guv’nahs from 9:15-11 p.m.

Aside from the music, the festival will also have a bounce house for the kids, as well as barbecue catered by 13 Bones and Heaven’s Scent and Anheuser Busch draft and bottled beer available.

Free YVEDDI shuttling will be offered from Elkin First United Methodist Church’s parking lot at 340 Hawthorne Road to the site of the festival at 357 Ivy Circle.

Tickets for Reevestock are $18 for students, $20 for adults or $30 for VIP and are available at reevestock.com, at Harry’s Place or Dianna’s Bookstore in downtown Elkin.

All proceeds from Reevestock will go toward the restoration of the Reeves Theater in downtown Elkin.
