The Lady Elks swept the conference golf awards with Mary Frances Hall (Golfer of the Year) and Sena Hinson (Coach of the Year) bringing home the top honors.

ELKIN - After posting a perfect Mountain Valley Conference record, the Lady Elks swept the conference awards this week.

Mary Frances Hall, who finished fourth at the 2A/1A Women’s Golf State Championships two weeks ago at the West Course at the Foxfire Resort and Golf Club in Foxfire Village, was named the Golfer of the Year, while Sena Hinson earned Coach of the Year honors.

Annika Winebarger, who placed 14th at the state tournament, joined Hall on the all-conference list. Kaley Cornelison was named as an honorable mention.
