The hallways of Elkin Elementary School were full of back to school excitement at Thursday night’s open house.
Open House was held at Elkin Elementary School from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, marking the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year.
Students and parents were able to meet with their new teachers, explore their classroom, and check out who would be their classmates for the up-coming school year.
With notebooks in hand, students will be returning to their classrooms Monday morning for the first day of school.
