Miss Edith E. Myers, age 96, of Ronda died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Heritage Health Care of Elkin.
A graveside service was held 2:00, Sunday, November 18, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Murphy officiating.
Miss Myers was born in Wilkes County, October 23, 1016, to Erastus E. and Fannie Green Myers. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Miss Myers was preceded in death by a sister, Sallie Mae Myers and two brothers, Noah Myers and Lee Roy Myers and wife, Mae Myers; brother in law, Herman Luffman.
Miss Myers is survived by three sisters, Frances E. Myers and Cleo M. Luffman both of Ronda, Margaret M. Holcomb and husband, Clyde of Winston-Salem; one brother, Clingman G. Myers and wife, Lottie of Ronda; one sister in law, Betty Myers of Ronda; her special friend her dog, Buffy; several nieces and nephews.
