Six months ago, Starmount Crossing Shopping Center’s Dollar General suffered extensive fire and smoke damage and was closed.
A new Dollar General is now opening in the same shopping center but in a new and bigger store location.
After 30 years of operation, Starlite Skate Center was closed to make room for the new site of Dollar General.
The new location will be open for business under the same management, Velvet Waloven, Aug. 2.
Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
