The Yadkin County Republican Party held a free Republican Rally at Yadkin Moose Lodge Saturday Oct. 6.
The event included free barbecue, music and guest speakers Senetor Peter Brunstetter and Warner Wingler.
Wingler said the event brought out a crowd of approximately 425.
“I felt really good about the turn out and I feel really good about the election,” said Wingler. “Just yesterday I drove 350 miles to Raleigh and back and was very impressed by the number of Romney stickers I saw. I saw very few Obama signs and just a lot of Romney.”
