Letter to the editor

To the editor,

If you want to prepare your children for a political career, teach them first of all to lie, loudly and with conviction. Then they should learn to buy votes with taxpayers’ money. Explain to them that the votes of the poor are often available in exchange for a Government subsidy; middle-class votes may also be for sale, the price somewhat higher. Promising free college tuition should close the deal. If this practice seems unethical to your children, remind them of the critical importance of reelection.
