The Traphill Fire Department will have Bingo and a spaghetti supper on Saturday, beginning at 6 p.m. Go out and support our great fire department.

Crabgrass bluegrass band will be playing at the Thurmond Community Center on Saturday from 5 to 6 p.m. Hot dogs and an auction will begin at 6 p.m. This fundraiser is for the upkeep of the building.

The ladies at Little Stone Mountain Baptist Church will be serving a Fisherman’s Breakfast on April 1, beginning at 7 a.m. They will have sausage, ham, eggs, gravy and biscuits and all sorts of goodies.

Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church will have revival April 3-7 at 7 p.m. Larry Adams will be bringing the message each night. Pastor Danny Royal and the congregation invite you to worship with them.

New books available to check out at Traphill Branch Library include “They All Saw A Cat” by Brendan Waenzel, “Three Dark Crowns” by Kendare Blake, “Unbroken (the Young Adult Adaptation): An Olympian’s Journey from Ariman to Castaway to Captive” by Laura Hillenbrand, “Amish Cooking Class: The Seekers” by Wanda Brunstetter and “An Amish Home: Four Novellas” by Beth Wiseman.

Get well wishes and prayers go to Amanda Smith, who had surgery last week.

Traphill had a low temperature of 29.6 degrees on March 11 and a high temperature of 75 degrees on March 9. There was .2 inch of rain in Traphill during the week of March 6-12. If there was any snow, I didn’t see it.
