To the editor,

Some decisions are very difficult for politicians. If they please one constituency, they may displease another So, hoping to displease nobody, some politicians, in spite of having promised to make decisions when elected, prefer to delegate their authority, and hire ‘experts’, who will presumably make more ‘scientific’ decisions. The experts are often quite expensive, but what the heck, the taxpayers are paying the bill.
