It was a family reunion on a large scale Saturday at the Nunn Brothers Music Park in Westfield as members of the Nunn family had their largest gathering in decades. The afternoon gathering, described as the first in several generations, drew close to 100 participants from across North Carolina and Virginia. “For my daddy,” said primary organizer Cyenthia Nunn Barker of her father, Bobby Nunn, “this is the biggest thing in years. I've seen relatives I hadn't seen in 35 years and I've heard some of them say it's been longer than that since they'd seen each other. It's been very rewarding. We're blessed to be able to come together.” “I'm hoping this will turn into an annual thing,” Arnold Nunn said. “And I'd like to see next year's be even bigger, a lot bigger.”
