The Yadkin Valley United Fund is undergoing changes to its management team.
Executive Director Missy Loving is leaving the organization in May, to be replaced by Betsy Robertson.
According to Loving, her husband, David Loving, the former CEO of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital, has accepted the CEO position for Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.
“I’m going to miss this place, but I won’t be too far away. I’m working with the incoming new executive director until I leave,” said Loving.
While loving was able to reveal Robertson would be the new CEO, no additional information on her was available.
Upon conclusion of his term as president of YVUF in June, Steve Owings of State Farm Insurance passes the torch to Ginger Isenhoward of Miracle-Ear.
The YVUF Board of Directors and volunteers gathered on Thursday evening with Cicely McCulloch, owner of The Liberty, for a dedication ceremony regarding the exterior fountain located under the balcony and adjacent to the facility parking lot.
According to McCulloch, all coins tossed into the fountain will be donated to the YVUF.
