Superintendent visits Copeland


Dr. Travis Reeves, superintendent of Surry County Schools, visited second-graders at Copeland Elementary School to speak with them about elected officials and their roles in the community. Reeves shared with students about the roles of the sheriff, judge, board of education, county commissioners, and the clerk of court and discussed some of the many ways local government is important to the community.​
