Three charged in armed robbery case

Three armed robbery suspects were arrested on Friday by the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office following an alleged robbery took place in the early morning hours on Foster Road in Yadkinville.

The two victims reported having car trouble and pulled the vehicle over on the side of the road when the suspect vehicle pulled up. The suspects allegedly assaulted one victim and tried to steal the vehicle. The victims were able to get away on foot and called the sheriff’s office. They described the suspect vehicle which was subsequently apprehended in the Food Lion parking lot in Yadkinville by the Yadkinville Police Department.

Brandon Tyler Stacy, 21, of Yadkinville, was charged with one count of possession of firearm by felon, one felony count of robbery with dangerous weapon, one count of conspire robbery with a dangerous weapon and one misdemeanor of simple assault.

Christopher Cody Caudill, 29, of Hamptonville, was charged with one count of possession of firearm by felon, one felony count of robbery with dangerous weapon, one count of conspire robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of felony neglect child abuse with serious injury. Caudill had his child, 10, riding in the vehicle.

Mary Grace Pittman, 22, of Yadkinville, was charged with one felony count of robbery with dangerous weapon and one count of conspire robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Stacy and Caudill were each given $125,000 secured bonds, and Pittman was given a $75,000 secured bond. All three have a court date set for July 5.
