PILOT MOUNTAIN — Omega Construction of Pilot Mountain has been recognized as the top winner of the 2016 Triad’s Best Places to Work, an awards program presented by the Triad Business Journal.

Select employers from the Triad were named winners of the awards program held on June 22. These winning organizations were honored for having created exceptional workplaces that their employees value highly.

Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across five categories according to the number of Triad employees. The ranking found companies in the region whose employees rate them as the highest on such values as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings and other amenities as well as management practices.

“It is an honor to be recognized as the Best Place to Work in the Triad. We are blessed with some incredible people who love what they do and who they work with,” said Beth Tilley Green, marketing/HR.

In addition, Omega Construction, a leading general contractor in the Southeast for more than 40 years, introduced the company’s new corporate brand and logo at the Winston-Salem Dash employee outing June 17. The rebranding reflects both the evolution of the company as well as its vision for the future.

The new Omega logo evokes strength, innovation and durability, according to company representatives. The new pyramid symbol provides a portal to insight, a means of focus. The red, white and blue palette focuses on depth, precision and expertise while celebrating its American identity. The new typeface lends a modern, clean look and features angles that are precise and recognizable.

Omega’s rebranding represents its successful and ongoing transition to a company of even greater capabilities and market reach, company officials said.

As a result of its recent growth and success, and to better serve clients, Omega is opening a branch office location in Richmond Hill, Georgia, serving the Savannah and southeastern Georgia markets. Office space construction is underway in the Crossroads South Business Center, with grand opening planned in July.
