• 3 p.m., Warriors of Worship present The Vision youth explosion at St. Home Baptist Church, 340 Oak Grove Road, Elkin. Guest speaker will be youth minister Gerald McCloud of Greater Tabernacle Worship Center, Winston-Salem. Dinner will be served immediately after the program.
• 6:30 to 8 p.m., Elkin Valley Baptist Church will present a live nativity, “Come Experience Bethlehem.”
• 6 p.m., Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 1997 Pleasant Ridge Road, State Road, will host a Community Christmas movie night featuring “Charlie Brown Christmas.” Children can come dressed in their pajamas. At 7 p.m., “White Christmas” will be shown. The event is free.
• 6 to 9 p.m., Arlington First Baptist Church in Jonesville will present an outdoor nativity drama, “It’s All About Jesus.” The show will run every 30 minutes, and those visiting can watch from their vehicles.
• 6 p.m., Swaims Baptist Church, 3919 Swaims Church Road, Hamptonville, will hold a Love Feast, as the church acknowledges and celebrates the reason for Christmas, the birth of Jesus. Immediately following the Love Feast will be finger foods and light refresments in the fellowship building.
• 11 a.m., Swaims Baptist Church, 3919 Swaims Church Road, Hamptonville, will present its Christmas play.
• 6 p.m., Union Hill Baptist Church will have its Christmas play, “There is Something About that Name.”

• 9 p.m. until, Union Hill Baptist Church will hold a New Year’s Eve service.
• 5 p.m., Christ Lutheran Church has a free community meal on the fourth Monday of each month at 451 Winston Road, Jonesville.
• 7 p.m., Abstract Church, 1785 N. Bridge St., Elkin, hosts Celebrate Recovering, a ministry designed to help hurting people, each Saturday. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can seek recovery and gain healing from life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. The group is free.
