You’d better not pout, you’d better not cry, but you’d better wine because the Magic of Christmas is coming to town, in a pretty unique way.
An annual tradition, the Fairfield Inn will be the home for fun for the whole family during the the Winter Wine and Crafts Festival on Dec. 12. For the wine lovers, there will be plenty of local, craft, and specialty vendors from across the state in attendance both selling bottles and offering wine tasting. At least 10 Yadkin Valley vineyards are scheduled to attend.
Kids will have the opportunity to have their face painted, or participate in arts and crafts activities. However, for many, the big reason the kids will be looking to attend is because Santa is making a visit to the hotel, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland.
The fun begins at noon and is scheduled to wrap up by 6 p.m. The time Santa is scheduled to visit is to be announced. Fairfield Inn & Suites is located at I-77 Exit 85, 628 CC Camp Road in Elkin. For more information, call 336-353-2008.
