Crews replacing concrete slabs

JONESVILLE — Drivers heading south on Interstate 77 should stay alert next week for workers replacing concrete slabs near the Surry-Yadkin county line.

Crews will shut down the right lane between Exit 83 (U.S. 21) and Exit 82 (N.C. 67) from 7:30 a.m. Monday through 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Repairs in that same lane will take place one mile south, between Exit 82 and mile marker 81, from 7:30 a.m. Tuesday through 9 a.m. Wednesday.
