Clingman board makes donation


The board of directors of Clingman Medical Center in Ronda recently presented a $1,000 check to the Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation annual fund honoring Jeannette Hendrick, center, of Elkin for community leadership. Hendrick, the foundation’s first executive director, recently retired. In that role, she developed a leadership program that educates citizens from the Tri-County area about healthcare issues and resources. With Hendrick for the presentation are Wanda Hincher, left, from the Clingman Medical Center board, and Dr. Bill Davis Jr., president of the hospital foundation.
