DOBSON — Dwight Cameron Bare recently graduated from Surry Community College with an associate’s degree in automotive technology.
He was one of 27 members to be inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa honor society out of 363 students. Bare continuously made the dean’s and president’s list while at SCC. He also holds ASE certification in brake and engine repair.
He is finishing a course in auto body and collision repair and will receive a diploma for this in August.
His future plans are to seek employment with an automotive dealership and eventually open his own business.
Bare is the son of Stephanie Bare of Hamptonville and the late Tim Bare.
