NORTH WILKESBORO — The Wilkes County High School Theatre Department presents “The Princess and the Pea,” an original play written by Krissey Browder and Wes Martin and directed by Krissey Browder.
Join student thespians as the story unfolds, featuring two scheming princesses, an unexpected love story, and, of course, the famous pea.
The show will be performed Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Stone Center, 613 Cherry St., North Wilkesboro. Tickets are $5 and kids 5 and younger are admitted free.
The cast includes: Estella – Katelynn Porter, Elouise – DeLayne Jolly, Frances – Marika Adair, Rosanna – Caitlyn Minton, Priest – Jose De La Garza, Philip – Ben Foster, Gideon – Ryan Brand, Penelope – Gracie Brock, Winnie – Kasey Mathis, Emery – Destiny Smith , Harper – Olivia Palmer, Silas – Francisco D. H., Yates – Nathan Shepherd, Sophie – Zoe Palmer, Magistrate – Marshall Brooks, Eric – Devin Bryant, Amelia – Jayme Martin, Mara – Hailey Hogan, Understudies – Ashley Call, Kristen Porter, Rosalee Reavis, Ashley Foster, Stage Managers – MaKayla Mullis, Abby Carcamo, Katelyn Coleman.
