Maggie's 4th birthday at La Fuente
We play "I spy" a lot at our house but with a Lamm family twist. We always say "I spy with my little pie eye something ... red" for example. Then the game players try to guess what we are looking at. Well, we took our four-year-old Maggie to La Fuente Mexican Restaurant in Elkin for her birthday. We thought it would be fun for them to place the sombrero on her head & serenade her like we'd seen done for birthdays while dining there. And it WAS fun.. until the pie in the face came. Maggie did not like that we were all singing and laughing while she had whip cream and tortilla chips stuck in her face. ... LOL, it's still funny to me, I grin as I recall it, but SHE did not think it was one bit funny...and she'll tell you allll about it.. should you see her out & about Elkin... "On the Lamm"
