Key to coach Powerade games

DURHAM — The Powerade State Games High School Baseball Showcase will take place June 18-22 at UNC-Charlotte, BB&T Ballpark and Hopewell High School. The showcase pits the best 20 underclassmen players from eight North Carolina regions against each other in front of more than 80 college and professional scouts.

Forbush Coach Danny Key will be represented on the Region 7 coaching staff along with Lake Norman’s Robert Little, Wilkes Central’s Terry Johnson and Surry Central’s Matt Scott.

Only high school underclassmen (2015-17 graduates) are eligible to participate in the showcase.

North Carolina Amateur Sports (NCAS) is the nonprofit organization that annually hosts the Powerade State Games of North Carolina and Cycle North Carolina.
