Jonesville tire store to relocate to East Bend

A Jonesville business is leaving after less than five months at its location.

The store, D&D Tires and More, currently sits at 546 Winston Road and has been purchased by Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital for an urgent care center, according to business owner Debbie Wallace.

D&D will be relocating to East Bend into the store’s wholesale warehouse. The entire business will operate out of the site on Hutchens Road.

The move will be made Sept. 27, the last Friday in the month.

Wallace and her son Dakota - “D&D” - have ran the business together. Debbie currently lives in East Bend and has for 20 years.

She said the business has had a lot of success in both areas, with lots of people in East Bend, Jonesville and places like Traphill coming to the store to buy tires and wheels.

Debbie also sells flags and other outdoor decorations, a noticeable shift from the tall racks of shining chrome. The added attractions have led men and women alike into the store, where everyone seems to laugh and have a good time while looking for their newest vehicle additions.

“We really love the people here,” Debbie said of Jonesville. “They’ve really been supportive of us.”

Those who want to visit the store before it leaves Jonesville should stop by between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m during store hours.
