UHS-Pruitt Corporation in Elkin on Monday will celebrates almost a half century of the history of its company with a Founder’s Day celebration.
This year the event will be held Monday from noon-2 p.m., and is meant to thank its employees, volunteers, and customers.
UPAC-Elkin is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located at 560 Johnson Ridge Road in Elkin.
Founder’s Day also encouraged providers to reflect on its beginnings — what was once a single nursing home in Toccoa, Ga, has grown into an organization with more than 24,000 patients though its advanced model of care offerings.
The mission of UPAC-Elkin and the entire UHS-Pruitt organization is: “Our family, your family, ONE FAMILY; Committed to loving, giving and caring; United in making a difference.”
